About Me

My Journey

I love the detective work behind building reliable software. For me, testing is more than finding bugs; it’s piecing together clues, uncovering patterns, and finally arriving at that “aha” moment when an issue can be consistently reproduced. That blend of curiosity and problem-solving is what keeps me excited every day.

I’ve always been someone who enjoys understanding how things work, but I didn’t discover my passion for software until college. I started as a math major at UC Irvine and took an introductory programming class that completely changed my path. I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science and a specialization in Information Systems, I found a world where logic, creativity, and puzzle-solving came together. My first role after UCI was as a software developer at a Personable Inc. Working at a small company exposed me to many sides of tech, but testing quickly became the part I enjoyed most.

As I grew into QA, I realized how much I love being the “super user” — the person who deeply understands how a product behaves and why. I enjoy collaborating across teams, asking the right questions, and bringing clarity to complex problems. My working style is detail-oriented, structured, and grounded in a genuine desire to help teams ship software with confidence.

Outside of work, I’m someone who enjoys exploring new interests and continually learning. You can usually find me at the library browsing sci-fi novels, cookbooks, or a new craft to try. I love DIY projects, staying creative, and getting outdoors for walks or hikes. I’ve also recently joined an adult softball league — a fun challenge and a reminder that it’s never too late to try something new.
